How many ODIs india have played in west indies? Which place,score, result Thanks j.k. 1 CommentsBinitHello Jas, India have played a total of 20 ODIs agaist West Indies in West Indies. They won only 5 of them and lost 15. It's tough to mention in one go about where those matches were played, but let me try - 3 ODI series in 1982 : Port of spain, Berbice & St. Georges. India won the second match by 27 runs and lost rest of the two by 52 runs and 7 wickets respectively. 5 ODI series in 1989 : Bridgetown, Port of Spain (2nd & 3rd), St. johns & Georgetown. India lost all the five of them. 4 ODI series in 1997 : Port of spain (1st & 2nd), Kingston & Bridgetown. India won the second ODI by 10 wickets whereas lost rest of the three. 5 ODI series in 2002 : Jamaica (first two), Bridgetown, Port of spain (last two). Both Jamaican ODIs were rained off, so this series became a 3 ODI series. India won at Bridgetown, WI at Bridgetown and the series decider was won by India by a D/L method. This was the first and only ODI series Indian cricket team managed to win in WI. 5 ODI series in 2006 : Jamaica (first two), St. Kitts and Port of Spain (last two). India won the first ODI, whereas West Indies sealed the series by winning all the next four. India have never played any other country on Caribbean soil so far.. that said, Cricket World Cup 2007 starting 13th March will change the figures radically.
