Who is the slowest NZ batsmen in history, in terms of strike rate? 1 CommentsBinitTo make a list of worst (lowest) strike rates for New Zealand batsmen, we first have to determine two things - test or ODIs and the least number of balls faced, for the obvious reasons. There has been 145 cricketers to play for New Zealand, & many of them (MD Bailey, LW Stott & KP Walmsley) never faced a ball. Ok, lets take ODIs (One day Internationals) first, and fix at least 50 balls as cut off. Then we current Kiwi fast medium bowler Ian Butler. He has a strike rate of 20 per hundered balls from the 15 ODIs he has played so far. Another name I can find for you is Shayne O'conner - the left arm seamer Kiwis had in late nineties. His strike rate of this bowler with bat in 38 ODI's he played stands at 26.37 Now to be honest, it's a wage way to answer your question. If you get more specific, then may be I can help you more. or inculde the test records for slowest strike rates. Post a new Comment Filed underAsk Binit - Start a New Topic
