Forum Name Ask BinitAustralia in India, 7 odi's - start times?posted by - Unknown
Can someone inform me what times these 7 matches will start, I can't even work out if they are day games or D/N 4 CommentsBinitIts very possible that we'll have 4 of those 7 Ind v Aus odi's as Day/night. Its nothing new for BCCI, not to declare start time of matches they host. We just have to wait till (let say) 25th of October.. 4 days before the 1st ODI of the series at Bangalore. But let me give you a tip. If they are Day matches, they'll start at 0900hrs India time n 1330hrs Sydney time. If it turns out Day/Night - just add 5 & half hours to above timing. Comes out to be 2.30pm IST & 1830hrs Sydney time. Tell me the country you are in, if specific timings needed. UnknownYes I am in Australia but currently there is only 4.5 hours difference between IST and Sydney. Do all these grounds have lights? Are there any where it is confirmed as a DAY game. I don't believe they could decide just 4 days out if its going to be day game OR a d/n (even the BCCI) UnknownSorry, you are correct with your times, lets just work on IST (to save me getting confused again!) 9am start for day games and 2.30pm start for d/n BinitRight, lets stick to just IST's cause I'm sure you can calculate your timings. Not surprised to know you are in Australia. Only an Indian or an Aussie can be exited about this series so much in advance, but sorry mate, BCCI haven't fixed it whether ODI series will be Day or Day night games. As per you asked, I can tell you that nearly all of those grounds have floodlight facilities, and even the month - October - is perfect for D/N cricket matches in India. But no, no confirmation as yet. Post a new Comment Filed underAsk Binit - Start a New Topic
