Hi Binit.

I am an Australian living in Dhaka, Bangladesh right now. A group of us are planning a trip to Kolkata to see the first two days of the test match against Pakistan./

Do you know how we can get tickets to Eden Gardens? Do we just turn up on the day or do we have to book in advance?

That Kolkata test match will be played from 30th November.. still 29 more days to go.

What best I can suggest, is you find someone in Kolkatta to buy and reserve those tickets for you once the selling starts around 15th of November. Probably at various bank branches. If thats tough for you, see this article]]]]]] where I've included some online resources to buy the india pakistan cricket tickets. They might be costly though!

I've both my eyes on the matter and as soon as some more information on Kolkata test match comes in - that article will be updated. I promise to get you the local ticket option well 3-4 days in advance, but may be you'll have to visit Kolkatta that much earlier in order of smooth cricket watching at the Eden Gardens.

Sadly, BCCI has not woken up to the tickets matter as yet, but you've got itsonlycricket.com. Have a little patience!
