any idea of exact dates and venues of the 3 tests and 5 ODI matches? Trying to plan a holiday from SAfrica and cant find info on websites?

Hello there,

Exact dates of South Africa tour of Australia 2008-09 hasn't been declared by Cricket Australia as yet.. therefore you don't find it on any website!

But I tell you this - Australia vs South Africa 1st test match will be starting on 26th December 2008 (Boxing Day test match), which, obviously, will be played at Melbourne cricket ground.

Dates for 2nd, 3rd test & the 5 ODI series, as I said, hasn't been decided as of now but Itsonlycricket.com can confirm the date for 1st test match cause ICC International scheduling says Proteas start their Australian tour by the 3rd week of December. As always, Melbourne should host the first test match!

You can plan a trip downunder at around 25th December 2008 & things should be fine!
