Record for fastest hundereds in one day international cricket belongs to Shahid Afridi : off 37 balls against Srilanka at Nairobi in October 1996. Pakistani Allrounder hit 11 fours and 6 sixes in his innings and he was out after scoring 102 runs.

Seconds comes Mark Boucher of South Africa who scored a 44 ball century against Zimbabwe at Potchefstroom on September 2006.

Brain Lara (45), Afridi (45), Jayasuriya (48), Mohammad Azharuddin (62), Jayasuriya (64), Mathew Hayden (66) and Suresh Raina off 66 balls have also scored hundereds at International level in limited overs cricket.
