Either the batsman concerned, or the onfield captain - they can appeal against the decision given by the onfield umpire. For example : if the batsman has been ruled lbw out - he can challenge & ask onfield umpire to check from TV Replays that he had nicked the ball or it had pitched outside the leg-stump line. Similarly, an onfield captain can challenge against a decision on the spot! Note : Hawk Eye predictor is not allowed. This technology will only be used to track deliveries line and where it pitched.. no predictions! How many Challenges = 3 wrong challenges allowed per innings. Signal - 'T' Sign on chest! That said, we're happy cause its a try by cricket officials to minimize mistakes made by umpires who are also human.
